Verona is a really beautiful City, and this fairly easy going 2½ mile walk around the medieval old town is a great way to introduce yourself to it, whilst taking in the following points of interest:

- Teatro Romano
- Verona Cathedral
- Arco dei Gavi
- Castelvecchio & Castelvecchio Bridge

- Piazza Bra & Verona Arena

Not included on this walk, but somewhere budding Shakespeareans may wish to consider visiting is 'Juliet’s House', a 14th-century residence with the balcony that is said to be the setting of Romeo and Juliet.

This short walk ends in Piazza Bra, a large and beautiful square containing numerous cafés and restaurants, surrounded by wonderful architecture.
It is also home to the 2,000 year old Verona Arena, originally an amphitheatre, but still used today as a World famous music venue.
